Anirban finished in a share of 48th place at last week’s Zurich Classic and will tee it up at the Wells Fargo Championship on Thursday.

With bad weather extending the tournament in New Orleans through to Monday and reducing it to three rounds, Anirban, who is now 55th in the Official World Golf Ranking and has made nine of 12 cuts on the PGA Tour this season, carded scores of 72, 69 and 70 at TPC Louisiana.

This week he is in action at Wells Fargo at Quail Hollow in Charlotte for the first time and plays the first two rounds with Americans Will MacKenzie and William McGirt, starting from the first tee at 07:10 (EDT).
