After finishing off with a creditable share of 49th spot on his debut last year, Anirban is all set to take part in his first Major of the year at the Masters in Augusta this week. It is the second time this 28 year old is going to be seen swinging his club with some of the world's renowned faces in Golf. In his first visit to Augusta the previous year, Anirban carded rounds of 71, 75, 74 and 72 after driving down the iconic Magnolia Lane for the first time.
“The first thing that hit me is how different it is to actually play, how different it is to actually be hitting those shots rather than watching those shots. It's quite different obviously. It's quite amazing and its a great feeling" - said an excited Anirban as he added that playing at Augusta was a realization of a dream. In the build-up to the Masters Anirban missed the cut at the Shell Houston Open, shooting scores of 69 and 78.
Anirban is currently 51st in the Official Golf Rankings and 100th in the FedEx Cup Rankings.
